double page spread 03

From my last double page spread I have altered a couple of the arrangements, I have chosen to place the artists name at the top of the second page rather then at the bottom as makes the artist more dominant and clearly signifies the artists name and that it will be the main focus of the article. I have continued with the pink colour as it represents the artist and again puts further emphasis on the fact that the article is solely on the artist alone. I have highlighted certain words in the quote by emphasising the words in a pink font which again represents the individual and creates synergy between the double page spread and whole magazine. In order to make the questions being asked to the artist stand out more among the other text I also highlighted them in a pink font, this has made them more prominent on the page and engages the reader as it adds an element of colour to the article.

MOJO's branding generally includes the artist/band being in front of the title, this emphasises that the magazine is a highly regarded one as it doesn't need to specifically show its title as its audience can acknowledge that its MOJO. This issue has surprisingly used a black and white image which is unusual but I think that it is used to indicate that the band is of an older date therefore it represents the band for what it used to be.
