I originally chose to stick with the exact same design for my contents page as I did on my preliminary task, as seen above. I would place the title of the page on the left hand side and use the rest of the page for the information about articles. However, through my research it is indicated that this is not a typical contents page layout as it isn't a suitable set up for the text as most of the magazines from my research had lots more text on in order to engage the reader. To keep with the code and conventions of a music magazine I chose to re-do the layout of the page, as seen below. I placed the title at the top of the page and placed images on the right hand side with the text on the left. I will include three images, one being of the artist that was on the front cover as it creates synergy and indicates to the audience that they are the main focus of the main article. The text will have titles for different columns as this again has been shown to be used frequently through my research.
