To follow the code and conventions of the magazines that I have researched I have changed the font style of my contents page title, through my research I have learnt that the title is usually in block capitals similar to the font page. So to stick to the conventions I changed the title font to fit the trend shown in my studies. Furthermore I have adapted the background colour as I believed that it looked dull and somewhat boring with the grey colour, in order to change this I have used a light blue as it isn't too intense, which would take away attention from the articles. The blue gives the page a more relaxed feel and looks more engaging to the reader as they flick through the magazine. To further develop my contents page I have changed the images, I have kept the guitar image as it is relevant to the genre of my magazine but I have changed the other images as I felt that they didn't look professional or were particularly relevant to the genre. The image of the artist is now more professional as she is wearing the same clothing throughout my magazine and works alongside my house style colours. I have included another image of a band, in order to further represent the genre of indie/acoustic as they are both holding guitars. This image also interreges the reader as it shows them another artist/band that will feature in the magazine.

MOJO's branding generally includes the artist/band being in front of the title, this emphasises that the magazine is a highly regarded one as it doesn't need to specifically show its title as its audience can acknowledge that its MOJO. This issue has surprisingly used a black and white image which is unusual but I think that it is used to indicate that the band is of an older date therefore it represents the band for what it used to be.
